Donna Schwartz, Program Founder

Musician, Educator and Everything Saxophone Podcast Host, Donna Schwartz has helped thousands of people of all ages all over the world bring their performance and improvisation skills to the next level for over 35 years.
She has performed with members from Billy Joel’s Band, Black Sabbeth, Finalists from NBC’s The Voice, and has performed in many of the major venues in the NYC and Los Angeles metro areas.
Donna has created courses such as Improvisation Made Easy Masterclass, Jazz Improvisation Explained, Supercharge Your Jazz Improvisation, Boost Your Blues Improvisation, Jazz Patterns 201 and many more that thousands of students have enrolled in.
Cameron Gallagher McGuire – Coach
Cam Gallagher is a Nashville based dynamic saxophonist, educator, and bandleader, celebrated for his versatility and artistry in the realms of funk, soul, jazz, and commercial music. A dedicated educator, Cam has inspired countless students by fostering a passion for music and empowering them with the tools to connect mind and fingers in harmony. His teaching approach combines technical proficiency with emotional expression, ensuring music remains a joyous and fulfilling experience for all.
Cam earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music with a focus on Jazz Performance from the University of Utah, where he studied under renowned musicians and educators Kris Johnson and David Halliday. He furthered his education at the esteemed Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where he earned his Master’s in Commercial Music with a specialization in Saxophone Performance. Throughout his career, Cam has had the privilege of studying with and learning from legendary educators and performers, including Chase Baird, Dr. Jeff Kirk, Dr. Alex Graham, and Grammy-winning saxophonist Jeff Coffin, under whom he apprenticed at Belmont.
As a performer, Cam is a touring musician and leads the Nashville-based band Cam Gallagher & The Tasty Soul, one of the city’s up and coming funk collectives. Known for electrifying live performances, the band blends the infectious grooves of artists like James Brown, The RH Factor, and Lettuce with original compositions that captivate audiences of all ages. Sharing the stage with Grammy-winning artists and playing at renowned festivals, Cam and his band have established themselves as a rising force in the industry.
Whether on stage or in the classroom, Cam Gallagher embodies the spirit of music as a practice that transcends technique to inspire connection, creativity, and joy.
Jacob Yim – Coach
Jacob Yim is a Nashville-based saxophonist, arranger, and music educator.
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Jacob is an alumni of the Downbeat Award winning Rialto Youth Jazz Orchestra, led by trumpeter Dr. Gordon Vernick at Georgia State University.
Jacob earned his Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Saxophone Performance at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, studying under accomplished saxophonists Dr. Jeff Kirk and Dr. Alex Graham.
Jacob has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Chris Potter, Charlie Puth, and Jalen Ngonda, and continues to regularly perform, record, and teach around the Nashville area.
